Item is vintage and very charming. Well packed for safe shipping. Item described as having lid possibly chipped on the edge or maybe it was made that way because it was meant to be the place where you put your hand to open it. Well, it was CLEARLY BROKEN along the edge. ANYONE would know when seeing it in person that it is broken along the edge. It was clearly a fabricated story. Now, because she provided in the description a possible explanation which included that it could possibly be a chip/broken, I CANNOT say she is crooked in her selling practices...and I am not saying that. But, I would not want to buy from her again. Yet, some folks like made-up stories because it lets them buy an item in less than stellar condition and still enjoy it. You can decide from there.
