The mei Tai is made with great attention to detail, the buckle on the waist strap has a safety band, that I can't seem to figure out, shoulder straps are padded and the hood is great support for baby's head. The only thing is that the main body of the carrier seems a bit short, which in my case might be a good thing, since I don't think flipping the belt would work for shortening the body, and the carrier fits us perfectly (LO is 3 months old) with just narrowing the body.
